The Park

Shamrock Dog Park is dedicated to building a community in Lafayette, not just for the people in our community, but for their best friends too, their dogs. With the help of our own community, including the City of Lafayette, the Dog Park Association of Greater Lafayette, and the Lafayette Parks Department, we have been able to create a fun and playful environment for dogs and people alike. Shamrock Dog Park is a fenced-in, off-leash dog area where well-behaved dogs and their owners can socialize and exercise in a safe, fun, and beautiful outdoor environment. 

Safe

Have you ever had to worry about your dog running away if you let him go off a leash in your unfenced yard? Do you get tired of having to make sure that your dog isn’t disturbing the privacy of your neighbors when he is trying to play outside? What about all those times when your dog chases wildlife in your backyard? We know how that feels. We know just how important it is for your dog to be able to run, bark, and play on their own turf.

Social

We know how important it is for dogs to socialize. We also understand how much fun it can be to socialize with people who you already know you have something in common with. When you come to Shamrock Dog Park, you’re getting all of these things. Your dog’s tail will be wagging when he comes to our safe and clean environment and we know you will be smiling when you see your dog meet a new friend or even when you meet a new friend yourself.
