In order to make sure that Shamrock Dog Park is a place that you, your pet and your family will love, we have developed some rules and regulations that everyone must follow while enjoying our facilities. We have rules for you, rules for your dog, and rules for your family members. Be sure that you thoroughly understand the rules so that you can know what to expect when you enter the dog park.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times when not in the fenced area.
- For safety reasons, please remove pince (prong), spike collars and hand collars from your dog prior to entering the dog park. A basic flat buckle collar is recommended.
- The Dog Park is designated "dog park." It is unsupervised and members use the park at their own risk.
- THe Dog Park is not intended as a children's playground and it may not be safe for young children to be around the dogs using the park. Children under the age of twelve years old are not permitted in the dog park.
- Bicycles, inline skates, roller skates, skateboards, strollers and motorized vehicles are not permitted in the dog park.
- Wheelchairs, mototized wheelchairs, crutches and walkers are permitted.

Parties involved in an injury should exchange names and phone numbers. Report serious incidents to park security, the Lafayette Police Department, and the Dog Park Association.

Rules and Regulations
In the rules and regulations segment you will find all of the information that you need to know about the Dog Park Association of Lafayette, what it means to be a member and what is expected out of you and your furry friend. Please read and review our Membership Rules carefully before coming out to play to help us ensure that the Dog Park is a safe and friendly place for all of our members.
One of the most important rules that we have for our members is that they make sure that their dogs are well-behaved at the park. We do our best to ensure the safety of all animals and people at the dog park. Not only do we require that all dogs be vaccinated for rabies, but we also require that all dogs that are going to enter the dog park are non-aggressive.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, we would love to hear from you. Contact us today to learn more about our rules, regulations and high standards for pet owners and their pets. We also welcome any suggestions that you may have for us. We are a family at the Dog Park and we will hope that you will feel comfortable with each and every visit to the park.
Yearly Shamrock Dog Park Memberships are $60 for a family of up to 3 dogs, and $10 for each additional dog.
